Compatibility
- Fits Freevane poles and most trekking poles using standard press-fit / glue-in tip housings.
- If unsure, message us with your pole model.
Installation (hot-water method)
- Heat a mug/pot of hot (not boiling) water.
- Dip the old tip housing for 30–60 seconds to soften the adhesive.
- With a cloth, pull straight off the old housing.
- Align the new tip; press on firmly until fully seated.
- Let it cool & set, then test plant on firm ground.
*Avoid open flame/heat guns—they can damage carbon fiber.
FAQs
⌄Q1. Do I need special glue?
Many tip housings are factory-glued; the hot-water method softens existing adhesive. If yours feels loose, use a small amount of outdoor-grade adhesive and let cure fully.
Q2. Will these fit other brands?
They fit most press-fit systems. If your poles use threaded or proprietary tips, contact us first.
Q3. How often should I replace tips?
Depends on mileage/terrain; inspect every few trips—flat or chipped carbide means it’s time.
