Warranty Policy
At Freevane, we keep warranties clear and straightforward.
Warranty coverage depends on the product line:
- Freevane-branded (Signature) products — Limited Lifetime Warranty
- Curated Gear (non-Freevane-branded items) — 1-Year Limited Warranty

Freevane-branded (Signature) Products — Limited Lifetime Warranty
Applies to Freevane-branded products, including trekking poles, trekking pole accessories, carabiners, and other items sold under the Freevane brand.
Limited Lifetime Warranty
We Believe in What We Build All of our branded products are covered by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for the practical and reasonably expected lifetime of the product.
If your product covered by this warranty fails due to a manufacturing defect, we will repair it or replace it without charge, at our discretion. Only original, unaltered and unmodified items and workmanship are covered. This warranty does not cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.
The products eligible for the Limited Lifetime Warranty are covered to the original owner, and coverage is nontransferable, for the lifetime of the product.
How it works:
- For warranty claims made within 30 days of product delivery, Freevane will replace, at no charge. Please note that customers will receive free return shipping.
- For warranty claims made within 365 days of product delivery, Freevane repair it or replace it without charge, at our discretion. Please note that customers will need to pay for return shipping fees.
- For warranty claims made after 365 days of product delivery, Freevane repair it or replace it without charge, at our discretion. Please note that prior to replacement, customers will be expected to ship the product(s) to the Freevane inspection facility (customer will pay return shipping) to determine if warranty coverage is appropriate. After inspection, customers will be notified via email of the warranty coverage decision.
What is not covered by warranty?
Normal wear and tear. This includes fading of fabric, seam tape deterioration, and overall deterioration of fabric and moving parts that is to be expected with time. We will not repair or replace normal wear and tear. Damage from use or misuse such as rips, tears, burns, holes, pole breakage, and stains. Products that have not been properly cared for or have endured excessive use leading to a shorter product life. Products that have been altered or modified from their original condition when purchased.

Curated Gear (Non-Freevane-Branded Items) — 1-Year Limited Warranty
Curated Gear is selected to meet practical outdoor needs, and we stand behind the quality we offer.
Coverage: Curated Gear includes a 1-year limited warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship.
If something goes wrong during the warranty period due to a manufacturing defect:
We’ll send a replacement after confirming the issue (usually with photos/video). In some cases, we may ask for the item to be returned for verification.
What’s covered
- Manufacturing defects
- Problems caused by materials or workmanship under normal use
What’s not covered
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by misuse, accidents, improper care, or modifications
- Cosmetic changes from normal use over time
